There will be a workparty at Thornborough Lake on the 30th of June meet at 9am. Before anyone starts on about "why should we de-weed the lake for their matches" it's worth remembering that we do own a half share in the fishing at Thorny and it is therefore just as important to LPAA members as the match lads in four in one.

The turnout at the last workparty up at Thorny was p**s poor to say the least so it would good to see as many people up there as possible. I will be taking my fishing gear with me and having a couple of hours after the workparty, and after the success of the green jackets on Sunday gone, I might stick some bits gear in as well !!!!!

What are the catering division up to on that Saturday? Do you fancy setting up a base camp I’m sure the lads wouldn’t mind chipping in a few quid for some burgers and tea/coffee etc.

i sounds good a will kock up a few good rakes for us.i a would chip in a few qwid if they are up 4 it

i'm sure something can be arranged.will sort out the details at the carp match

if there is a spare seat in someones car i can help with something cant do much but maybe something better than nothing

thanks to all the regulars that made the work party on sat, it was a bit of a wet one but what the hell, the catering division was top notch,sausage sarnies, burgers, cups of tea and coffee and a bit of piss taking thown in for good measure. it was also a good chance to meet some o the 4 in 1 lads and get some tips of the better pegs ,so now that a lot of the weed is out lets get some arses in gear and get some of the record fish for this lake taken off the 4 in 1 lads, we're paying good money for this place we might aswell fish it.
