can anyone help dean out with a stable pod,his gear went in a few times yesterday with the wind and i for one know how bad that is,marty im sure you will have a spare pod or twelve!!!!

get some reels like garys dean, with all that weight on your pod even hurricane katrina couldnt move it

but you need to go to the gym 3 days a week,so you have the power to lift into a fish,and if it fights for more than a few minutes you'll need a rest

I am sick of my pod going in like, so if any one can help

You need an idea on how to catch carp before you go splashing out on a pod,i myself had pod trouble last year but it was fish pulling it in not the wind,im sure my hero ian(who is conspicuos by his absence) would take you under his wing,but don't get to close as he is my bitch and im not sharing

Like ive said all along mate, im new, im learning and all advise welcome. I have s**t rods and reels, poor rigs and i use what ever bait i can get a hold of But ive had a few ( not recently ) and im enjoying it

dont matter about rods and reels,my eyes is 1st location,2nd bait,3rd rigs,then4th no joy wrap up

Its the bit in the water that counts,your rods and reels are better than garys and he still manages to get a few out!!
