Subject: new arms for garry Thu Sep 25, 2008 10:04 pm
i would like to buy garry a new set of arms, as he now has a half decent rock rock,he's gonna hurt himself trying to cast the distances i take for granted!!! and we all know he will not be out done which will eventually lead to his new rod ripping his arms from the sockets, slapping him round the jaw with them and dropping them in the sea, so if anybody can help please get in touch with the scarlet pimpernel, who in turn will hide out of the way for months on end, eventually having to show his face at the odd meeting will let me know...........thanx neil

you yourself used to use a slightly softer/longer version of this rod,is that why you went for one of the tippier conoflex rods? your getting on a touch now and have to watch your back, there's no shame in it mate i speak for all of us here when i say i understand
plus you need something you can compress to get you past your p.b. of 80 yards(with a force 8 behind you),the only thing that will let you down is that dodgey boat reel your using, but we all have to start somewhere!!!
