Was thinking of giving it a go for the very first time next week after going in search of the place,Cheer's Neil for the directions.Any one out there like to share in their knowledge regarding tactics any advice always welcome and apperciated.

i always beef up a touch, 5lb line to a 3lb hook lenth, the fish dont tend to be hook shy and you need to stand a chance of landing the very big fish in there, float tackle with maggots, corn, meat, all have done well for me, your looking at catching mainly perch, enjoy yourself and let me know how you get on

Cheer's Neil, If I get up there this Wednesday I will let you know how I got on. The weather forcast at the moment seems ok.does this play a big part in how the fish bite. Question

every time i have fished there it's rained and the wind is ten fold, but still caught

Give it a go today fished on the dam wall on peg 3 from 12:45 - 16:05 tried on the float and feeder and not a sniff of a fish No . About half an hour before I left the ghosties showed up nice shoal of around 8/10 fish and I'm sure I could hear them all laughing Laughing
I shall return, maybe whem it warms up though its a lovely place to be.

im not great at bits stuff but i always use 3 loops in your main line the first loop holds your feeder, the second loop acts as a boom, and the third for you hook lenth to attach, ill see if i can find a link for you

if you google feeder rigs and click on floats and rigs, then scroll down you will see the loop rig, hope this helps you out
