down on tuesday for the bits, flat calm and very wet. set up on peg 7 fished the pole very light and had one bite in 2 hrs. moved to peg 24 had 4 1/2 lb of good roach and two perch in 2 hrs. went home soggy but happy. cheers

they are there to be had . shame people are afraid to fish it for fear of blanking. when did fishing become about weights and not about outwitting your quarry. i blame the commercials , pay your tenner and have a mind numming day of small carp after small carp, dont really need to apply yourself to fish those places do you.
