Possible new carp record!

i had a call from carl at the park tonight and he has informed me that he has had quasie out at an estimated 27lb 8oz, this time around carl has had the fish witnessed by another member and also has pics of the fish, once the scales have been checked im sure that we will have our new record, let me be the first to say well done carl, it is without doubt a great acievement for any angler to catch a 25+ carp, THERES A NEW SHERRIFF IN TOWN AND HIS NAME IS CARL! lol!

I've been down to see Karl this morning and his scales seem near enough so it looks like we have a new record (still need to check the scales against the club scales though)

Well done Karl as Mark says any 25lb plus carp is a real achievement.

did you keep it mate ? just checked the freezer thats all and im ruuning short of pike deadbaits lol!

note; no carp were hurt in the making of this message, under no circumcisions are carp to be removed from the lake for pike bait or otherwise. anyone found doing so will be shot.
