Bank Holiday Monday

Fished early 6.00 till 9.00 caught 16 fish including roach, rudd, gonks and perch for estimated 3lb. Best fish was a absolutely clonking perch of around a pound. Is it just me or are the perch packing the weight on?

Had the lad down later as he wanted to fish off the top for carp and he had his first 'proper' leazes carp, a double figure mirror (see avatar). If he keeps this up I'll be asking him how to go on! Well done Stephen.

well done to both of you!!!!!!! Early morning is definately the time to be fishing at the minute. Fished on friday night and from 3am onwards the place was littered with fish topping all over the lake! cheers
