may have a trip to forresters in the near future, hows it fishing lately?? still mornings and evenings?? confused

Had a trip up there late august time, biggest problem was getting a rig through the weed, even when you did you could never be fully confident it was fishing properly.

Shame really coz there's some cracking fish to be had.

we'll have to get a few bodies down there and give it a bit tlc.nice place though and still one of those places that your not sure what your next fish will be

Agreed, Foresters could be a gleaming gem in the clubs crown with a bit of effort.
The park may be the place to beat your carp pb, but foresters has got the tranquility factor, which is sometime more important.

Kinda wish I wasn't moving away from Newcastle as it would of been nice to lend a hand and see this place get sorted.

That said, with the quality of fishing available in Lincoln, maybe I won't find much time to be getting sentimental about the cold and dreary North. lol!

Aye no prob's, looking forward to getting to grips with a few pike down there since I'll be within spitting distance of the river Witham.

I'll probably renew my membership for Leazes when the time comes anyway, got a lot of friends and family up this end who I'll no doubt be visiting and its cheaper to bivvy up at the leazes than pay for a room at the Holiday Inn. lol!
