Not even a bite. There was no movement at all on the water that I could see. In fact the only two fish I saw all morning were what looked like a couple of gold coloured Koi carp swimming near the surface. But even they disappeared off towards the middle of the pond after a second or two. Maggot, worm, sweetcorn and meat. Had 17lbs 12ozs, comprising, 6 lb of perch (about 55) and tench of 2 lbs 8 oz, 3 lbs 4 oz and the cherry on the cake a lovely tench of 6lb which is now my avatar . The two lads had a great day too, catching 3 lb of perch each. Whatever went in the pond it's good stuff there's no Canadian pond weed at all !
