Just wondered if any of you fine gentlemen would be willing to give me some help on saturday night? Just need some advise on rigs etc. how to tie, hook size and materials needed. Trying to tie my own but there CRAP!!!!!!!!!

hello i am new to the forums and new hopefully to the club

i was jsut wondering do you have to have a landing net at all times whilst fishing

(i am going for the small fish and not the carp for now) just so i know wether to bring it or not and is there anyone going to be there today to give me some pointers or anytthing

the park is on fire for the bits at the minute, plenty of tench coming out four on sunday up to 3lb 14oz, bream caught to 3lb and nearly every species showed over the weekend the juniors fished well with 14lb of fish coming out in 5 hours, gonks, roach ,skimmers, tench and perch all showed up c'mon people get on it while it lasts.

Hi all

Just a massive well done to the juniors they fished their hearts out today on the main lake and really done the LPAA proud.

The total combined weight was 11lb 11oz with virtually every species in the lake putting in an welcome appearence including :-

3inch mirror carp,(the next generation)

a few gudgeon

loads of small silvers and the guest appearence of a 3lb 5oz tench well done to the junior who landed her.

Well done to all juniors involved fantastic results.

just to say all who attended the match last night done well considering it wasnt easy,stevie won with a 4lb bag of perch and roach,both billy and mark had perch and rudd,with the best perch of 13oz going to mark at the last knockings,les finished with 5oz and poor tomy who caught a roach only for it to swim through the mesh of his landing net as it was being weighed!!!All in all about 7.5lb of fish between 5 anglers... well done lads....

Got the trophy,s off billy for the ponch memorial ...

Junior match

Hi all

Just to let you know the juniors did well this week given the conditions

of the weather i.e rain sunshine,rain sunshine.

The total catch weight was 3lb so well done to all juniors who fished the match.

May i also remind all juniors that there is a trip away to brafferton fishery

in July all juniors wishing to take the oppitunity to fish at brafferton must have parental consent.

There is application forms available from myself each saturday so please see myself on the bankside.

did gary catch at his local easy water (burradon) i dont think so, did fergus on his first time there , never even seen the place before, catch at garys' local easy water (on his allegedly crap new rods) i think he did 3 runs to nil when i left well done fergal hard lines gary!
