We all hope that a 30lber comes out of Leazes this year...so why not have a little competetion,with the committees blessing of course...to reward the first capture of it.

Pick a start date and an end date ...say the 1st March to the 31st Dec 2009..
£10 per person..club members only....all club rules to be obeyed...capture to be witnessed by another club member,preferablly a committee member.
All money to be paid up front,and if you drop out for any reason..no refunds.

It would add an extra tingle to the gonads...every time you wet a line at the lake,thinking is this run..the Golden Fin....

why not pick a month,, march to december is a long time

The only trouble with that Garry...if say we pick the month of march and no-one catches it..we would then probally be asked to extend it to april and so on.
Might as well let the competetion run until its caught.
